Diversant was formed in 2010 after Principle Executive John Goullet merged his company, Info Technologies, with Gene Waddy’s company, Diversant Inc., to form Diversant LLC, a minority owned business enterprise, and the largest African- American IT staffing company in the
Diversant specializes in IT staffing across the nation and prides itself on forming lasting relationships with their IT staffing clients. Diversant was founded on the belief that as a staffing service, they would not just supply staff with no vested interest in the companies they support. Diversant would show respect for other clients or staff, display ethical behavior in all situations, and commit themselves to professional development.
Diversant supports education and matches the IT tech to each job matching their level of learning. They encourage education and re-reimburse tuition for employee learning. Diversant also supports and mentors other minority owned businesses. These principles are shared ideas between Mr. Waddy and Mr. Goullet, the owners.
Goullet started his career in 1987 after he graduated from Ursinus College. John has worked for several different information and technology companies including: Computer Sciences Corp, The Constell Group, 3d Information services, and Cap Gemini America. It was after leaving Cap Gemini America in 1994 that Mr. Goullet started his own IT company, Info Technologies.
Before merging companies, Mr. Goullet turned Info Technologies into one of the fastest growing Fortune 500 companies in the US. Mr. Goullet has always used the same principles that are still used by Diversant today. John would always match his clients’ needs with the IT tech that matches the level of experience wanted for the position, and he always formulated close working relationships with his clients. It is these principles that keep Diversant, Mr. Goullet, and the company’s staff on the top of the IT market.
