Jay Hernandez Joins “Suicide Squad”

With Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice having concluded production, comic book fans are now tuning in to report.cnn.com news to listen in on what the experts have to say who understand what to look for as far as more clues regarding the Suicide Squad film and its relationships with Warner Brothers’ and DC’s common cinematic universe. Sadly, the high level of pressure and guesswork have fueled all sorts of rumors as the cast becomes finalized.

While the exact role is unknown, one more actor that has confirmed involvement in the film would be Jay Hernandez. Hernandez is currently negotiating terms to join the film with Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, and Will Smith as The Joker, Harley Quinn, and Deadshot, respectively. However, without any idea of the film’s story or his role, guessing who Hernandez will be portraying will be a shot in the dark.

While not as established a name as his cast-mates, Hernandez has made notable impressions in several of his roles in film and television, such as Friday Night LightsWorld Trade CenterNashville, and Gang-Related.

It’s hard to pin down where Hernandez could be placed within the film, as rumors brew of other veteran actors looking into the picture and murmurs of Slade Wilson, also known as “Deathstroke the Terminator” making an appearance. Hernandez could just easily be enlisted to work the role of a government agent as he could a super-villain.

Suicide Squad deploys 8/5/16.
